At Mitchell Hamline School of Law, she was the Executive Director of the school’s Self-Help Clinic, which focuses on expungements and family law. She received the Law Student Volunteer Award for her work with the clinic.
The common thread throughout this professional and volunteer experience is a desire to help people. It’s no surprise, then, that Rhiley decided to go into family law after graduating.
Rhiley finds fulfillment in guiding people through the emotional and difficult times when they feel the most alone. She has helped reunite alienated parents with the children they haven’t seen for years, and worked to prevent people from losing their homes.
But the family law system doesn’t always align with people’s best interests. Sometimes, compassion isn’t enough, and an attorney needs to stand up and fight for their client’s rights. Rhiley isn’t afraid to take the gloves off and go to trial when the situation calls for it.
As a Minnesota native, Rhiley is an avid Vikings fan and an enjoyer of the state’s natural beauty. She enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.
