Luke McClure

Attorney

Throughout his years of military service and civilian life, Luke has served in the Marine Corps in law enforcement and has worked as a prosecutor. That’s what makes him such an effective defense attorney.

Luke began his career as a police officer in the Marines, for which he received numerous commendations including a Navy Achievement Medal for accomplishments in law enforcement.

Back in civilian life, Luke was working as a paralegal when he decided to attend law school and become a lawyer himself. He learned that his military background and his experience as a police officer gave him insight into the law and allowed him to think outside the box.

After graduating from the Mitchell Hamline School of Law, Luke served as a city prosecutor, gaining experience in four different counties.

He also had some experience in Worker’s Compensation before coming to work at Martine Law.

Having worked in both wings of law enforcement, Luke is uniquely prepared for a career in criminal defense. He is intimately familiar with the procedure for investigating and prosecuting criminal charges, and knows how to spot the State’s mistakes.

Luke aspires to hold the government to the high standards it sets for itself. As a former law enforcement himself, he is a vigorous advocate for his clients in the face of unfair prosecution and government overreach. His deep sense of faith also motivates him to seek justice and help his clients improve their lives.

Outside of the office and the courtroom, you’ll find Luke spending time with his two young boys and enjoying Minnesota’s many natural wonders.
